DPL is a fully integrated group of 11 companies present in Sri Lanka, Thailand, France, Poland and Italy. The group is engaged in the production of rubber gloves with complete management and oversight of the entire supply chain, from the plantations to the marketing of finished products. With over 15,000 employees in the two sectors HAND PROTECTION AND PLANTATION, the group represents 5% of the world market for household and industrial rubber gloves with a strong presence in 68 countries.Being part of such a large company we can surely guarantee our customers high and consistent quality standards over time.Ethics and respect for the environment,a global commitmentToday, a company has a civic duty to pay the utmost attention not only to the product and those who use it, but also to the world in which it lives and operates. In this regard, ICOGUANTI has long been engaged in campaigns focused on the correct use of the product with regard to dermocompatibility and safety of workers and in the medical field for both operators and patients.Sustainable procurement: the DPL Firstlight project. The DPL group initiated the DPL Firstlight project (www.dplfirstlight.com) of which we are very proud. The project starts with responsible sourcing to create ethical gloves by supporting the lives of over 2000 suppliers of natural rubber latex. The principles guiding the project are:Support for small-scale producers and local farmersFair price for latexTrainingSupply of materials and equipmentProtecting crops and preventing deforestationSupport for schools, local hospitals and cultural activitiesSustainable production.Production is sustainable, as efforts are made to minimise environmental impact, using energy from renewable sources, not from fossil fuels. The water used in the plants is purified and recycled during the production process.Environmentally friendly gloves (r-PET).With the ever-increasing threat of pollution, we have innovated and expanded our range of environmentally friendly products. We use recycled polyethylene terephthalate (r-PET) polyester yarn in the production of most of our gloves. from discarded PET plastic bottles. PET bottles are converted into PET flakes that undergo a monofilament extrusion process to produce PET yarn.Research and innovation: the 5 requirements for our gloves. Our aim is to create the best possible product that meets the following five basic requirements: comfort, sensitivity and grip, skin compatibility, safety and respect for nature.Comfort Sensitivity and gripDermocampatibilitySafetyRespect for nature
